ORIGINAL CATALOGUE ANALYSIS · UPDATED 9 OCTOBER 2026

What is inside our UAE project catalogue?

We counted the records behind the public directory to show where its coverage is strongest—and where a buyer still needs more evidence.

By Projects Atlas · Published 3 October 2026 · Snapshot refreshed 9 October 2026

Headline numbers

1,970 project records

Across 427 developer names and 490 area labels.

1,892 usable map pins

96.0% of records passed the map’s coordinate rules.

425 numeric starting prices

21.6% of records. Missing prices are not estimated.

These are directory records, not a count of units for sale. A record may represent a building, phase or master community, and current inventory can change after its source-check date.

Coverage is heavily weighted toward Dubai

Dubai accounts for 1,587 records, or 80.6% of this snapshot. That reflects our research priority; it does not mean Dubai represents the same share of all UAE launches or available units.

Which areas appear most often?

The six area labels below have the most records in this snapshot. This is a measure of Projects Atlas coverage—not construction volume, demand, investment quality or live availability. Area links open current map results; their counts may differ from this dated snapshot.

Most records can be explored on the map

1,892 records have coordinates accepted by the public map, while 78 do not. The accepted total includes 36 clearly labelled representative community pins. We excluded 28 provisional locations from the usable-pin count.

A pin supports area exploration; it is not proof of a unit, entrance, plot boundary or construction status. Open the project record and its Google Maps link before relying on the location.

Prices and terms remain the largest evidence gap

Only 425 records (21.6%) have a numeric starting price. The other 1,545 are left without a number rather than filled with an old or estimated price. Price-filtered results therefore cover only the records with numeric prices; they are not a complete affordability view.

“Published” means a dated source stated the information; it does not make a future date contractual or a payment schedule available for every unit. Conflicting and incomplete terms stay labelled instead of being silently resolved.

Method and limits

  1. We counted the 1,970 unique project IDs in the public Projects Atlas catalogue as recorded on 9 October 2026.
  2. Emirate, area, developer, price, payment-plan and handover counts use the fields displayed in those records. Capitalisation was not used to merge different developer or area names.
  3. A usable map pin requires numeric coordinates within the UAE bounds accepted by the map. Provisional coordinates are excluded. Representative community pins remain included and are labelled on the project card.
  4. Percentages use all 1,970 records as the denominator and are rounded to one decimal place.

This is selected Projects Atlas coverage, not an official register or a census of the UAE property market. It cannot establish total supply, transactions, sales velocity, rental returns or current stock. Review dates vary by record, so use the linked source and request current unit documents before making a decision.
